Jaanimmathon 2017

On Thursday, October 12th , in the afternoon, our students and staff enjoyed the thrilling experience of a mini-marathon. One of the goals was to encourage students to push theirs limits. The distances varied from 3 km (grade 4) to 12 km (Challenge). After the race, students received some healthy snacks provided by the school. The medals ceremony was helded on Friday. Congrats to all participants and to the organization ! To see the photos, please click here.

The community of Kuujjuaq decided to applaud the efforts and the determination of the elementary and secondary students by organizing a special event. An award ceremony followed by a big feist took place at the Forum on June 14th.  The deserving students were accompanied by their parents and friends. Congratulations to all and THANKS to the organizing committee. Photos were taking by Mrs Isabelle Dubois. To look at them, please click here .

Gaston Côté retirement

Our dear friend and collegue Gaston had a big surprise today, June 14th, as the school staff decided to honour him for all the years of great work  he has done teaching in Nunavik. A life-style painting made by the so talented artist  Mrs Nancy Saunders was presented to him. It represents Gaston making the breakfast for the elementary students. This very beautiful painting will remain in the kitchen in souvenir of Gaston's devotion for the students and the community. To see some photos, please click here.
